Our Mental Health Summer Camp is designed for individuals, couples, and parents who want to deepen their emotional awareness, strengthen relationships, and build practical life skills in a supportive learning environment.

Through expert-led psychoeducation, interactive discussions, and skill-based training, participants will gain tools to manage stress, improve communication, and create healthier family and relationship dynamics.

Camp Modules & Instructors

Day 1 — Emotional Regulation by Michelle Blank, MA, LPC-S (TX), LMHC (UT)

In this session, participants will develop a deeper understanding of their emotional processes and learn practical tools for self-regulation.

You will explore:

  • How thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected
  • Common thinking traps and automatic negative thoughts
  • Core beliefs — how they form and how they influence behavior
  • Recognizing natural vs. manufactured emotions
  • Effective strategies to regulate and reset emotional states
  • Basic relaxation and grounding techniques
Counseling

Days 2 & 3 — Couples Intensive with Michelle Inauen, MA, LPC, LMFT (TX), LMHC (UT)

This two-day intensive focuses on strengthening relationship dynamics through communication, emotional awareness, and collaboration.

Couples will learn:

  • Practical communication skills to improve understanding and connection
  • How to respond differently when emotionally triggered
  • Strategies for forgiveness and moving forward together
  • How to plan, problem-solve, and organize as a team

Days 3 & 4 — Parenting Support with Sara Vercher, MS, LMSW

(Supervised by Mary Lynn Marinucci, LCSW-S, Texas)

This two-day parenting workshop helps parents guide their children toward healthier decision-making through positive reinforcement and structured boundaries.

Parents will gain skills in:

  • Reducing power struggles and family conflict
  • Staying calm and empathetic during difficult moments
  • Setting clear, consistent, and enforceable limits
  • Moving from enabling to empowering behaviors
  • Helping children learn from mistakes rather than repeating them
  • Raising cooperative, responsible, and respectful family members
