Jayson graduated from Auburn University in 2017 with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jayson has experience in community mental health as an associate, a program specialist in a children’s psychology department, and a clinician in mental health since 2017. Jayson specializes in working with couples who struggle with communication issues, betrayal trauma, or are experiencing high conflict.
In the therapy room, building a relationship with the client is vital to the success of therapy. Jayson uses an Emotionally Focused therapy approach where more relatable emotions are uncovered beneath anger, frustration, and rage. Jayson helps couples to learn how to communicate through the language of emotions to improve their relationship and provide them with the tools to navigate difficult situations outside of therapy.
If you have been struggling to connect with your spouse, fight way too often, or feel like you are just roommates, then Jayson will be the therapist who can help you overcome and work through these pressing issues.
